The Taipei Times has just posted a story on HTC, makers of most of the Windows Mobile phones on the market. It seems to confirm the HTC "Diamond" and it's referred to within the article, although not by HTC staff.

After we followed news of the upcoming HTC handsets in leaked images and then documentation it was just a matter of joining the dots and working out that the HTC Touch Diamond / HTC Diamond will probably be the replacement for the popular HTC Touch.
